Meet the founders
Founded by Joanne Elias and Jesikah Pawa, GlamGarde was created after one frustrating problem kept showing up in our lives—trying to protect our outfits after spending time perfecting our makeup.
Like so many make-up lovers, we'd carefully choose what to wear, finish getting ready, then hold our breath pulling a dress or top over our makeup. One makeup mark on a white collar or favourite outfit could undo all that effort.
We knew there had to be a better way.
So we created GlamGarde—not just to protect clothing, but to make getting ready feel easier, more confident and completely stress-free. Because every woman deserves to step out the door feeling beautiful, confident and ready for whatever the day brings.
We're here to protect more than your outfit—we're here to protect the confidence you wear with it.
Why we created Glam Notes
As women, we know that getting ready isn't always as glamorous as it looks.
Those few minutes standing in front of the mirror can quickly become filled with self-criticism.
"I don't like how this fits." "Maybe I should change." "I wish I looked different."
We've both experienced those thoughts ourselves.
As GlamGarde evolved, we realised we weren't just protecting clothing—we had an opportunity to protect confidence too.
That's why every GlamGarde includes a Glam Note. A simple affirmation designed to interrupt negative self-talk and replace it with something more empowering.
We call these Mirror Moments—the few minutes before you walk out the door, when the conversation you have with yourself matters most. GlamGarde was created to protect more than your outfit. It was created to protect the confidence you carry into every room.
